Henry County Historical Society Museum - 614 S. 14th Street, New Castle. (765) 529-4028. The Henry County Historical Society Museum is located in the home of Civil War General William Grose. It is a Victorian Italianate home that was built in 1870. The society, one of the oldest and largest in Indiana, was founded in 1887. The primary function of the museum is to promote and preserve the history of Henry County, Indiana. The museum offers tours to see the antiques, paintings, and current exhibits. Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame -One Hall of Fame Court (Trojan Lane) , New Castle. (765) 529-1891. Hundreds of game films and thousands of photographs and artifacts tell the story of Indiana's fabulous basketball tradition. Meet the heroes of the game, from the days of peach baskets and laced balls, through this year's champions. T-Sa 10am-5pm; Su 1pm-5pm

Trumps' Texaco Museum - 39 N. Washington Street, Knightstown. (765) 345-7135. Specializing in Texaco memorabilia in a service station atmosphere. By appointment

Vera's Little Red Dollhouse Museum - 4385 W C.R. 850 N, Middletown. (765) 533-3453. Features two large rooms with every type of doll imaginable. One room is a nursery filled with baby dolls in cribs, playpens and baby beds. One room is called "Amy's Animal Kingdom" (Vera's daughter, Amy, collects stuffed animals), has over 1600 animals in it. The museum is wheelchair accessible. By appointment

Wilbur Wright Birthplace and Museum - 1525 N. CR 750 E, Millville. (765) 332-2495. Wilbur Wright took his first steps here on February 4, 1868 making them the first steps toward flight. The museum features a life-size replica of the Wright Flyer on display. Restored birthplace home of Wilbur Wright furnished in the 1860's era. Also has a shelter house and picnic area available. Open from April through October. M-Sa 10am-5pm; Su 1-5pm
