Clifty Falls State Park - one mile west of town with entrances on State Road 56 and 62. Whether you are an avid wildlife watcher, a hiker, or simply enjoy the great outdoors, this magnificent state park has something for you. Owned and operate by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. (812) 265-1331. Admission: March through October. www.state.in.us/dnr Riverfront Park - Vaughn Drive. The riverfront is a favorite spot for a relaxing stroll and is the site of several outdoor festivals. The American Queen, Mississippi Queen and Delta Queen make frequent stops here throughout the season. Public boat launching facilities are avialable. Golf Courses - Enjoy a full 18 holes or a quick 9 hole par 3 course among the rolling hills of southeast Indiana.
Area Bicycling Routes - Whatever you want in a ride, it's all right here. Flat farmland. Challenging hills. Back roads and river views. Ridges and valleys. No wonder Outside Magazine said we have the best bike ride in Indiana (March 1998).
Canoeing - Try your hand in a canoe along the Ohio River amid low wooded hills, misty mornings and brilliant sunsets.
