Butler Winery - 1022 North College Avenue, Bloomington. (812) 339-7233. Spring-Fall Weekends Vineyard Tasting at the newly established vineyard at 6200 E. Robinson. Open Sat. & Sun. noon to 6 p.m.

Located in an 85 year old home, in downtown Bloomington, this winery has both indoor and outdoor tasting areas. Specializing in wines made from Indiana grown grapes. This winery has been a Bloomington tradition since 1983. Beer and wine making supplies are also available.

Oliver Winery - 7 miles north of Bloomington on State Road 37. (812) 876-5800, (800) 25-TASTE. Hours: Mon.-Sat. 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sun. noon-6 p.m.

Oliver Winery is Indiana's oldest and largest winery, operating since 1972. Join us in our new tasting room to sample over 15 different varieties of wine free of charge. Come and enjoy a picnic by the pond or a free weekend tour.

The Brewpub at Lennie's - 1795 East Tenth Street, Bloomington. (812) 323-2112. Southern Indiana's first brewpub is nestled on the northeast side of the Indiana University Campus.

Upland Brewery - 350 West 11th Street, Bloomington. (812) 336-2337. The area's newest brewery offers beers brewed on site and a variety of unusual entrees.

Scholars Inn Gourmet Cafe & Wine Bar - 717 N. College Avenue, Bloomington. (812) 332-1892. This restored 150-year-old historic mansion provides a perfect place to enjoy wine, dinner and dessert. With its dual fireplaces and huge outdoor deck, it is a great setting for any time of the year.
