French Island - French Island is a beautiful river-front location across from three wooded islands in the Ohio River. This area offers camp sites, a shelter house, boat ramp/river access, boat slips, dock and gas facilities. Dances, parties and events take place throughout the summer months. Located four miles south of Highway 66, at the corner of County Road 850W and River Road.

Lake Rudolph Outdoor Resort - (877) 478-3657, (812) 937-4458. A variety of camping experiences are offered at this resort, including: Tent Sites, Camper Sites, RV Rental and Cabin Rental. Amenities available for campers to enjoy include: Miniature Golf, Fishing at Lake Rudolph, Playground, Horse Shoe Pits, Basketball Goal, Game Room with Souvenir Shop and Swimming Pool. Located on Highway 245 next to Holiday World in Santa Claus.

Lincoln State Park - (812) 937-4710. This scenic 1,747 acre park was established in 1932 as a memorial to Nancy Hanks Lincoln. Recreational facilities include Lake Lincoln, lakeside shelter house, boat rental building, nature center, cabins, picnic areas, shelter and trails, plus Class A and primitive camp sites. Lincoln State Park is also the home of "Young Abe Lincoln" Outdoor Drama. Located on Highway 162 across from Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial in Lincoln City.

Oakridge Campgrounds - (812) 649-2860. Oakridge has a sparkling five-acre lake and 50 campsites nestled in the woods with full water, electric and sewage hookups. Showers, grills and restroom facilities are available. This camp also offers a primitive area. Visitors can camp, fish and picnic. A large community building is available to rent for receptions, reunions and parties. Located on Silverdale Road in Rockport.
