Baker Park - 2000 S. Main Street, New Castle. Featuring picnic areas/shelters, playground equipment, ball diamonds, horseshoe pits, walking/running area, and outdoor pool.

Dietrich Park - Raider Road, Middletown. Features a community building and ball diamonds.

Henry County Memorial Park - 2221 N. Memorial Drive, New Castle. (765) 529-1004. Memorial Park is a 312 acre park with W. G. Smith Auditorium, a rustic shelter house, and three log cabins all available for rent throughout the year. There are also 17 open picnic shelters, 21 picnic tables scattered throughout the park. The park also has two softball diamonds, three tennis courts, one basketball court, three volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, playgrounds, and nature trails.

Lewisville Park - US 40, Lewisville.

Osborne Park - 27th & Washington Streets, New Castle. Offers visitors picnic areas, playgrounds equipment, a football field, and three ball diamonds.

Summit Lake State Park - 5993 N. Messick Road, New Castle. (765) 766-5873. Visit Summit Lake State Park for an enjoyable outdoor experience. Activities include: boating (rental boats are available), fishing, and swimming on an 800 acre lake; camping in a 125 site class A campground; hiking on 3 trails; group activities led by their naturalist service; cultural arts programs; and excellent bird watching.

Sunset Park - Hill Avenue, Knightstown

Westwood Park - 1900 S C.R. 275 W, New Castle (765) 987-1232. Fishing is excellent for bass, sunfish, crappie, and channel catfish. A small modern campground is located near the lake and is open from May through October. A small primitive horseman's campground is also available in the park. Picnicking, playgrounds, shelter houses and play fields are some of the day use activities to be found. Some facilities are handicapped accessible.
