Orange County, Indiana

With popular tourist destinations such as Paoli, French Lick and West Baden, Orange County has much to offer.

Paoli, a historic community nestled in Orange County within the rolling hills of southern Indiana, is a four-season destination for visitors now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Settled nearly 200 years ago by Quakers, the clip-clop of horse-drawn Amish buggies still resounds on the streets lined with homes and businesses.

The historic resort communities of French Lick and West Baden owe their existence to springs that were once abundant in the valley. During the early 1900's wealthy guests arrived via the Monon Railroad in pursuit of health, relaxation, recreation and entertainment. Tourists still come to enjoy beautiful scenery, great recreation, quiet atmosphere and small town ambiance.
