| Madison
To continue our Ohio River Scenic Route tour, we join back up with State Road 62, and follow this up through Clark County’s Charleston, the county seat, and then on to Madison in Jefferson County. Madison was settled in 1809, and there are many well-preserved homes and historic sites to visit, as well as wineries, fine dining, and shopping. Riverfront Park is a shining example of what a community can do to take advantage of its river location. Madison offers walking tours of the beautiful old buildings and homes, and a perfect combination of a river view to the south and wooded hillsides to the north.  <click to see more>
