Eastern Canada Travel

Canada is not as well known as it should. It is not a country, the cold and snow on public opinion makes it out to be (at least for the whole year!). In fact, the summers are quite nice and hot, and Canada has a rich history, which is to be found. Whether your pleasure, a wedding or business conference, Eastern Canada everything you want.

Quebec and Montreal

The eastern provinces and eastern Quebec has two major cities of Quebec and Montreal. Quebec was founded in 1608, making it one of the oldest cities in North America. Quebec is known for its Winter Festival, the charm of Old World New World French cuisine and incredible. It is also a place for the provincial government of Quebec. Views of the heights of the cliff into the river and the south coast are unmatched in the province. To put an end to the romantic atmosphere, Quebec is a great option. Along the lower St. Lawrence River from Montreal is the largest city and most populous province and one in Canada. Montreal is about 40 years younger than Quebec, which still makes it very old. A stroll through the Old Port, take a series of performances, plays, comedians, or enjoy a stroll through its many museums. Montreal is the cultural center of Canada and its multicultural population gives you access to a wide range of food options, some as exotic as a Tibetan or Chinese classics such as Dim Sum. Subway system is easy to travel and will take any place that is really interesting: Oratorio, the center, the Olympic Stadium and many more.

Ontario is the country’s most populous province and home to the federal capital, Ottawa. Ottawa is well known to the world’s longest river, skating, Rideau Canal, if you like to travel in winter, Ottawa is definitely a must see. The Houses of Parliament have a striking neo-Gothic architecture that mimics those of England, but still has the characteristics of Canada. Visit one of the many museums or attend a session of the House of Commons. A couple of hours south, is located in Toronto, the metropolis of Canada. Situated on the shore of a large lake, so big that you can not see the other side, Toronto is the commercial center of Canada. In the center of the heart, compared to New York, in fact, is more compact and easier to visit the American sister. Toronto is full of theaters and museums, campus of the University of Toronto served as a substitute for Harvard in many television shows and movies.

As you can see that cities in eastern Canada offers many opportunities for adventure tourism. Weddings, group tours, conferences are a few reasons to visit this beautiful part of the world. And is perfect for those who love winter, because these cities and regions offer an excellent skier and snowboarder and those who come to enjoy walking in a winter wonderland to return to a warm fire in their hotel room.
